BBH Solutions, Inc., a leading New York City provider of converged network and cloud computing solutions, is pleased to announce that the EMC VNXe solution will be the featured technology at its second seminar of 2012. This event will be held at BBH’s technology showcase located in DAS USA’s new show and office facility, at 875 Avenue of the Americas, on March 1st from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The program will include discussions led by professionals from BBH Solutions and EMC, hands-on demonstrations, and complimentary food and beverage in a relaxed, networking-friendly setting.
The EMC VNXe Series is a unified storage platform for the small-to-medium business. The VNXe Series provides automated, application-ready storage that’s easy to manage, provision, and protect. With scalability from six up to 120 disk drives and 240 terabytes of capacity, the VNXe series is ready to meet the needs of growing organizations with increasingly complex storage requirements. The VNXe3100 is an ideal platform for businesses with physical server infrastructures, as well as those making the move to server virtualization to drive consolidation and greater efficiency.
Engineering staff from EMC will be on hand to demonstrate the capabilities of the VNXe storage platform through a live version of Unisphere, which provides unified management capabilities for both the storage specialist and the IT generalist. Unisphere provides a task-oriented management approach that is either web-based for ease of use or a standalone application for large environments with increased security and control environments.

DAS USA are relocating to new premises in the heart of New York…
DAS is delighted to announce our US entity, DAS USA Inc’s occupation of a state of the art show and office facility at the landmark Greeley Square Building located at 875 Avenue of the Americas.
Our in house Architect, Joshua Hannum lead every aspect of the design keeping a close eye on detail, current forward design thinking and ensuring the space was welcoming to a broad spectrum of individuals from our Financial Clients through to Architects/Designers as well as the Consultants which make the DAS Trading Floor one of the most successful high technology environments in the commercial office sector.
Zoe Loeb, DAS USA’s Project Director, took the direct lead in coordinating construction trades, ensuring Joshua’s design intent was realised to the highest standard as well as completing the project on very aggressive time constraints.
Aided by the building’s excellent public transport links (Penn Station is 2 blocks away), DAS’s in depth knowledge and experience with environmentally friendly product design, and expertise provided by industry leading consultants, the construction project has been registered for LEED certification. Once achieved, we will be the first LEED accredited facility in our industry.

Innovations include a SEER 16 Energy Efficient HVAC system, Milliken Green Guard Certified (Negative Carbon Status and Zero waste to landfill) Ghost Artist Façade Carpeting throughout, 76% construction waste diversion from landfill, reclaimed/reused/redeployed materials (both raw materials and finished furniture), VoIP integrated solutions, video conferencing and dedicated recycling.
Just one of the many discoveries made by the project team to further our absolute commitment to Green Manufacturing is the fascinating story behind our extensive use of Canal Zapatero Veneer and solid hardwoods for the Cabinetry, Baseboards and Conference Table.
In 1913, the Chagres River was damned to create the world’s largest man made lake flooding an entire forest of exotic hardwood trees. This was to enable the construction of the Panama Canal. Now, 98 years later, with the help of submersible hydraulic chainsaws lubricated with vegetable oil, divers can reclaim and harvest the preserved tropical hardwood from depths of up to 100 feet, resulting in a stunning Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified product.
